Tanqueray
Production Company: Motion Theory
Role: Designer
Intent / Process:
I was involved in the very early concept and pitch stage of this project. This project's intent was to rebrand Tandqueray. The goal was to communicate the rich blend of Tanqueray by visually showing the layers of taste that exists within a Tanqueray bottle. The 3 things the client wanted to focus on were the botanical flavors, the experience of drinking it and most importantly...the lifestyle. The thinking behind storyboarding process was how do we get these double exposed images to work and tell a story. One main challenge was to find a balance between having enough rich imagery to fill up the frame but also not to misdirected the eye with something too cluttered or too busy. The key was to find this blend of imagery and have it feel like a memory that is discovered and not too directed or forced.
