Intent and process: I was brought in at the beginning of the conceptual phase. Although these boards are not the the final direction, I feel they still stand very much on it's own. The Intent was to find a visual solution to represent the idea of "Comedy Fetishes" for their new HBO comedy website launch. The idea is hilarious in itself and we wanted to figure out how to represent it visually. The key was to get the quirky nature of HBO comedies and equate it to fetishes. It's something embarrassing, yet everyone has them. The direction I went down was I thought where else in the world can you find all the fetishes in one city? Amsterdam came to mind immediately. The goal from there was to show the experience of going to the red light district and sitting in a big leather couch and ordering your favorite Comedy Fetish off of the menu.
